About A Mild Sprain

Join us on Sunday, June 3, 2018, for the seventh annual A Mild Sprain Trail Race in Sprain Ridge Park in Yonkers, New York. New this year will be some additional trails bringing the total distance to 5 miles. Don’t miss this great event.

For all of our runners in the NYC boroughs and southern Westchester, this is just over the Bronx border in Yonkers at a beautiful county park… Everyone farther afield, it will be worth the trip.

Race date is Sunday, June 3, 2018, and start time is 9:45am (check-in is between 8:30 and 9:30am).

The 5-mile course is a great fun test of trail running. It has some great climbs, fun downhills, single track trails, switchbacks, along with plenty of rocks and logs to navigate. There will be a water station at the 2.25-mile mark.

All net proceeds go to JDRF whose mission is to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications through the support of research.

“Just want to let you know that you put on a great event. The course was by far the best and most demanding trail event I have run this year.”
